Helen studied at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa, graduating in 1999. She had elected to learn Five Element Acupuncture, which is an holistic approach to treating people, based on a their particular individual elements of Fire, Earth, Metal, Water or Wood. This type of acupuncture treats the person at their roots, strengthening from the deepest level to achieve long-lasting results.

Helen’s first practice was in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, where she built up a busy patient list, treating many different types of illness. After eight years she decided to make the move to London and joined a fertility company to gain experience in helping couples conceive.

Since qualifying, she has taken several courses to improve her knowledge base of many medical conditions and to gain both an eastern and western understanding of illness. She fine-tunes her acupuncture techniques continually, and follows a strict programme of practitioner development.

Helen has many varied enthusiasms, from archeology to zoology, but people remain her over-riding interest. She believes we have the potential to make life-changing decisions about ourselves if we are given the power of choice, and hopes to help you find a few of those choices.
